ORGANICS... Or not

Got your attention, right? The beauty world is creeping with poison disguised under the term, “Organic”. I’m not quite sure about other African countries, but Nigeria is being drowned in deceit. I’d make this easy by explaining what I mean by ‘’Organic’’ in this context. For a product to be termed organic, it means the product does not contain any chemicals and the natural ingredients in question, whether plants or animals were grown without the use of artificial pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers.

Okay, let’s take 5 seconds to digest this info… how many products you use which have been termed “Organic” are indeed organic? Weeeelllll… close to none. Guard yourself against harmful bleaching products raining down on you in the deceitful name of “Organics”.
I will help us with a small list of natural products with large possibilities of being Organic in Nigeria

Aloe Vera gel
Coconut oil
Palm oil
Palm kernel oil
Honey
Neem leaves/oil
Moringa leaves/oil
Paw-paw
Tropical almond seeds
Castor seeds

I love to be a killjoy most times *grins sheepishly* so I’ll be one and give you a list of natural stuff in Nigeria with a slim possibility of being organic… this is because they are mostly grown wickedly with the use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.

Milk
Egg
Sugar
Carrots
Avocadoes
Citruses (Lemon, lime, orange etc)
Apple
Soya beans
Bananas
Mango
Turmeric

In cases of milk and eggs, don’t forget the animals who produced like cows and chickens for instance are mostly pumped with artificial chemicals and yes!!! They will in turn affect whatever they produce.
Well, this write up isn’t targeted at making you all feel any sense of hopelessness… even though you should *grins wickedly* Rather, you should be thankful for the organic ones you have at hand.

  1. So that you know that I read this post to the end, Ama! its only H²O from spring that I can be certain of 100% organic here. This is because every plant and animal can be grown with the artificial booster (chemicals) just as the same way they can be grown naturally. So let's advocate for consumption and production of natural made products. Keep this campaign aflame. You are doing well.Good luck. Your product go sell.

WHY YOU SHOULD BLEACH YOUR SKIN WITH CHEMICALS

1.Melanin: I mean, the more we bleach, the more expensive melanin becomes, because it’ll become a scarce commodity. That industry is fast...
